The managerial structure of the Lithuanian Court of Arbitration has been updated

On the 25th of August, 2017 the General Meeting of participants of the Lithuanian Court of Arbitration appointed, for a three-years term, the following members of the Board: Dr. Agnė Tvaronavičienė, the chairperson of the Lithuanian Court of Arbitration (the Chairperson of the Board); judicial officer Vitalis Milevičius, the member of the Presidium of the Chamber of Judicial Officers of Lithuania; professor Dr. Snieguolė Matulienė, the vice-dean of the Law Faculty of Mykolas Romeris University; professor Dr. Gintautas Bužinskas, the president of  Rectors’ Conference of Lithuanian University Colleges, the member of the Presidium of the Lithuanian Employers’ Confederation; Ramūnas Stonkus, the deputy chairman of the Board of the Central Credit Union of Lithuania, the head of the administration of the Lithuanian Credit Union association; and Evaldas Rapolas, a partner at the Law firm Magnusson and an attorney-at-law, a lecturer of the Law Faculty of Vytautas Magnus University, a member of the Board of Kaunas Chamber of Commerce Industry and Crafts and an arbitrator of the Lithuanian Court of Arbitration.

The Board of the Lithuanian Court of Arbitration is a collegial governing body that addresses the main issues of the Lithuanian Court of Arbitration, including the approval, amendment and supplementation of various documents related to the institution and its functions, the consideration of annual financial statements, the determination of the seat etc.

During the meeting, issues of cancellation and election of the chairperson of the Lithuanian Court of Arbitration were also discussed. Under the decision of the participants of the Lithuanian Court of Arbitration, Dr. Agne Tvaronavičiene was re-elected as a chairperson of the Lithuanian Court of Arbitration for a five-years term.
